Fifteen years in the making, The Adventures of Nana Z. was inspired by the real-life stories my mother told her grandkids—stories so outrageous, so funny, and so unforgettable that they held their attention longer than sports, video games, or anything on a screen.

As a parent, I struggled to find book series that truly hooked my boys—they only liked stories rooted in humor, heart, and real-world adventure. They weren’t into fantasy or sci-fi. When we found a series they loved, it truly felt like winning the lottery.

That experience sparked a mission: create a series kids can’t put down.

Told through the eyes of her youngest grandson, Max, IT’S RIGHTEOUS! is a laugh-out-loud, fast-paced adventure filled with mishaps, meaningful lessons, and the kind of lovable chaos only Nana Z can create.

And there’s more: each book in the series gives back. A portion of every book purchased is donated directly to an animal welfare organization, Tails Together. Each book is truly saving lives! In addition, I’m partnering with Tails Together, hosting events kids and families attend to learn about the joys of giving back—because stories should spark both imagination and impact.
